Computer Check and Test Information.
The
test starts with an automatic compatibility check of the
connected computer and follows upon success with a test
information list for the participant to read and confirm
including, setup of volume level and advice regarding test
completion.

The Test.
The
participant is then presented with 84 question pages consisting
of 112 actual questions. The test pages include audio,
photographs, text and documentation questions to fully test the
participant's level of listening and reading comprehension.
The
test page has a time display so that the participant can always
see how much time they have left. The time display is colour
coded as the time counts down for added clarity
Background
Checking.
In the background the
system is always checking for cheating. Monitoring both
connection and server response times to ensure that the
participant is fairly treated during the test execution. Further
information regarding security features can be given during a
personal interview.
Score Report.
After the participant answers the last question the score report
is generated. The participant can see the progress of this
function, which normally takes approximately 3-4 seconds. After
calculation, the participant is presented on screen a score
report for them to print.
The
score report includes the number of questions answered correctly
for each question type including, date of test and their
assessed level based upon the Common European Framework
score ratings.
